- Michael Schaaf elected to the board
(Frankfurt/Main, 14 February 2024) After Carsten Hemme resigned from his position as Chairman of the Administrative Board of Kombiverkehr KG in mid-November last year and at the same time stepped down as a member of the Board, the company's limited partners elected Michael Schaaf (56) as a new member of the Administrative Board on the freight forwarding side during a shareholders' meeting in Frankfurt am Main today. Schaaf is Managing Director of Bay Logistik GmbH + Co KG and has been closely associated with the Frankfurt-based operator for more than 20 years. At the subsequent constituent meeting of the Administrative Board, Ulrich Maixner (55), Director Intermodal Europe Domestic at HOYER GmbH Internationale Fachspedition, was elected as the new Chairman by the freight forwarding representatives. Maixner has been a member of the Administrative Board at the Frankfurt-based company since 2020.
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Administrative Board consists of nine members. In addition to Maixner and Schaaf, the members of the Administrative Board are Sonja Stich, Karl Schmidt Spedition GmbH & Co. KG, Kai-Jörg Bode, Spedition Bode GmbH & Co. KG, Christian Cornelius, Anhalt Logistics GmbH & Co. KG, Georg Dettendorfer, Johann Dettendorfer Spedition Ferntrans GmbH & Co. KG, and Ueli Maurer, Bertschi AG. As a 50 per cent shareholder, DB Cargo AG delegates Pierre Timmermans, Member of the Management Board for Sales, as Deputy Chairmen and Ralf Günter Kloß, Member of the Management Board for Production.
Ulrich Maixner (55) is the new Chairman of the Administrative Board of Kombiverkehr KG.
Michael Schaaf (56) was newly elected to the Administrative Board of Kombiverkehr KG by the freight forwarders' representatives.
